The upcoming Tamil film “Parandhu Po”, directed by Ram, is all set to hit theaters on July 4. The film features prominent actors like Mirchi Shiva, Aju Varghese, and Grace Antony. The press meet for the movie was held today in Chennai.

Speaking at the event, Mirchi Shiva shared his experience: “One day, director Ram called and invited me to play the lead role in his film. I wasn’t this nervous even during my exams! But the thought of working with him made me nervous. He handed me a script and said it’s a unique film—something he himself hadn’t done before.”

He added, “I’m not someone who reads a lot like Ram sir, but I enjoyed reading the story very much. When I told him I liked it, he gave me another, longer version of the script and smiled. Later, once shooting started, I realized how serious and intense Ram sir’s direction style was.”

The film was screened at the Rotterdam Film Festival and received great recognition. “We got one of the biggest screens and it was a full house. People gave Ram sir a standing ovation. He is a director who deserves much greater appreciation,” Shiva said.

Parandhu Po promises to be a notable work in director Ram’s career and a unique cinematic experience for the audience.
