The sequel to the blockbuster film Jailer is well underway, and a familiar face from the first installment is making a return. Actress Mirna Menon, who played the daughter-in-law of Rajinikanth’s character, Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, has reportedly joined the cast of Jailer 2.

Directed by Nelson and featuring music by Anirudh, Jailer 2 is currently being shot in Coimbatore, where the team is expected to film for about 20 days as part of its second schedule. Sources reveal that Mirna Menon has already participated in the ongoing shoot.

Fans of the first film will recall the intense climax, where Rajinikanth’s character kills his own son—Mirna's on-screen husband. However, her character remains unaware of this shocking truth. As anticipation builds, one question looms large: Will Muthuvel Pandian finally reveal the secret in Jailer 2?
