The ruling ADMK party MLA Easwaran from the Bhavani constituency was set to marry Sandhya a 23 year old girl on September 12th with Chief Minister Edappadi Pazhaniswamy and Deputy CM O.Panneer Selvam as chief guests. Sandhya went missing on September 1st with just a few days left for her wedding and a police complaint was made by her parents that she may have eloped with her lover.

The police have traced Sandhya in Trichy and have produced her before the court in Gobichettypalayam. The girl with tears in her eyes explained to the judge that she was unwilling to marry MLA Easwaran who is as old as her father. The judge has warned the parents of Sandhya not to force her if she is not interested in the wedding.

Easwaran has stated that his marriage would be held on the 12th as planned and his parents are on the lookout for a suitable girl.
