Actor Suriya is currently busy working on Kaappaan, his third collaboration with KV Anand after Ayan and Maattrraan and the movie, also starring Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa, Samuthirakani and Boman Irani is gearing up for an August release.

Post this project, Suriya will be starring in Irudhi Suttru maker Sudha kongara's movie which is said to be the biopic of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath, and produced by Suriya's 2D entertainment and Oscar winning producer Guneet Monga's Sikhya entertainment.

The latest buzz is that versatile Telugu actor Mohan Babu has been approached to play an important role in Suriya38 by Sudha Kongara. It must be noted that Mohan Babu has also been considered to star in director Maniratnam's mega Multi-starrer Ponniyin Selvan.
