Mohan Babu's 'Gayathri' launched

Veteran actor Mohan Babu is now all set to do a drama titled 'Gayathri'. The same will be directed by Madan of 'Pellaina Kotthalo' fame. It will be bankrolled by the actor's home banner Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

The launch was a low-key affair. SS Thaman will compose the music.

The Manchu patriarch was supposed to do the remake of Dhanush-directed Tamil movie 'Pa Paandi'. Director Subramaniam Shiva of 'Donga Dongadi' fame too was roped in. It seems the project will take time to get rolling.

The veteran actor is hardly in form. His last movie 'Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu' was a flop.
