Dr.D.Mohan Babu has expressed his sadness at Telangana Shakuntala's death and expressed his deep condolences to her family.

Telangana Shakuntala is an actress, who has won the hearts of everyone with her acting and her typical Telangana slang. She is an adept in portraying any character whether it is villainous, comedy or sentiment. I am very saddened by her death. She has acted in many of our films and has impressed everyone with her performance in 'Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda'. She should be hailed for the way she has developed from a stage artist to a movie actress. The void she left in Telugu film industry can't be filled , Mohan Babu said.
