Mohan Lal's daughter Vismaya to enter film industry

Mohan Lal is going strong as a leading hero in spite of two generations of young actors competing with him in Malayalam cinema. He is also taking up powerful roles in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi satisfying his fans across regions. The Complete Actor is making his debut as director with a fantasy film titled "Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure'.

News has now emerged that Mohan Lal's younger daughter Vismaya is entering the cinema field as an assistant director to her dad in Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure'. Mohanlal has already teamed up with his son Pranav for the Priyadarshan directorial 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham', that is expected to release soon after the coronavirus scare comes in control. Now the entry of his daughter too has excited fans all over.

"Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure' is scripted by Jijo Punnoose, the visionary filmmaker who made India’s first 3D film ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’, the movie revolves around the story of Barroz, a mythical figure who was the guardian of Vasco da Gama’s valuable treasures for 400 years. The movie's shoot was supposed to begin in June this year but was stalled due to the Covid-19 crisis.

International stars Raphael Amargo and Paz Vega are expected to star in the film that has music by child musical prodigy Lydian Nadhaswaram. The ambitious project backed by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
