Mohan Lal and Prabhu team up after 22 years

Mohan Lal and Prabhu rocked as freedom fighter Govardhan and Mukund in Priyadarshan's epic 'Kaalapaani' (Siraisalai in Tamil). Now after 22 years the veteran duo and the ace director are coming together for another historical 'Marakkar – Arabikkadalinte Simham'.

'Marakkar – Arabikkadalinte Simham' is about a sixteenth century chieftan Kunjali Marakkar who ruled the Arabic sea and while Mohan Lal plays the title character his son Pranav will portray his younger self. Prabhu and Madhoobala play important roles while efforts are on to rope in Nagarjuna for another pivotal role in the ambitious project.
