Mohanlal angers many through #MeToo comments

Mollywood superstar Mohanlal has tried to belittle the 'Me Too' movement by calling it a fad. Speaking on the sidelines of an event in Dubai most recently, the 'Janatha Garage' actor remarked that there is no big problem in the Malayalam film industry, meaning sexual harassment of women is not a big issue in the industry.
The 'Complete Actor' even went on to say that much shouldn't be said that create problems. #MeToo is not a movement. It is a fad, Mohanlal added.
By saying that #MeToo is turning into a fashion, the legendary actor has only insulted the victims of sexual abuse, critics are saying.
On the film front, the actor's Malayali hit 'Odiyan' will be dubbed in Telugu and released sometime in December.
