Mohanlal-Sirish's 'Yuddha Bhoomi' chooses safe date

Mohanlal-starrer 'Yuddha Bhoomi' ('1971: Beyond Borders' in Malayalam) will hit the screens on June 22. It's also the date on which Jayam Ravi's 'Tik Tik Tik' will hit the cinemas. This is a safe date as no big releases are scheduled to be released in the second half of the month. Vijay Devarakonda's 'Taxiwala' seems to have been pushed to July.
The Major Ravi film, released last year in the original, marked the Mollywood debut of our own Allu Sirish. His is the second most important character in the war film, after Mohanlal's. AN Balaji will release the entertainer in Telugu.
Also starring Asha Sarath and Arunoday Singh of Bollywood in other crucial roles, the Telugu version has dialogues by M Rajasekhara Reddy. Music is by Siddharth Vipin, Najim Arshad, and Rahul Subramanian, whereas Gopi Sunder has composed BGM. DoP is by Sujith Vaassudev.
