Mohanlal's Villain - First Indian film to adapt this technology!

Ever since the release of the first look poster of Mohanlal's new movie 'Villain' helmed by B. Unnikrishnan, the movie has become the talk of the town. The shoot for the movie is currently progressing at Trivandrum, and the team members recently revealed an interesting factor about the highly anticipated movie.

The crew will be releasing Villain in 8K technology by using a special 'Red' camera of 'Weapon Helium 8K' series to shoot the stylish thriller. By adapting this new technology, Villain becomes the first Indian movie to be shoot completely in 8K resolution. Manoj Paramahamsa known for his works in movies like Nanban and Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya, is the DOP of Villain.

The film has Mohanlal playing an ex-cop cop while Manju Warrier plays his wife. The film also has Vishal, Hansika, Srikanth and Rashi Khanna in pivotal roles. Produced by Rockline Entertainments, the movie has Pulimurugan fame stunt choreographer Peter Hein choreographing a special stunt sequence for Mohanlal. The rest of the action sequences will be choreographed by Stunt Silva. The team is planning to kickstart the second schedule filming of Villain in Vagamon, on March 20.
