Mohanlal's wooden chest in Guinness Record

Lal Care, an initiative by Mohanlal's fans association has gifted the actor with a world record by doing charity activity in his name. They had set up a giant wooden chest as charity box in association with Sharjah Charity International, based in UAE.
The chest has now entered the Guinness world record for being the biggest charity box ever. This is probably the first time that a fans' association is earning such a distinction. According to the association, Mohanlal himself is their inspiration, since he is known for his immense charity works, even earning the prestigious Mother Teresa award years ago. His philanthropy has changed many a lives.
