'Monsoon Mangoes' trailer released

After a long wait, a Fahadh Fassil movie trailer has been released. The trailer of the movie 'Monsoon Mangoes' looks pretty interesting. Directed by 'Akkarekazchakal' fame Aby Varghese, the movie is set in the US.

Going by the trailer, Fahadh seems to play a character who is passionate about taking a movie. Indian cinema in various phases seems to have been incorporated into the movie. A whole new mode of narration and an inetersting backdrop will make this movie a very different outing. The trailer definitely has hit all the right notes.

Theatre strike withdrawn; Xmas releases ready

The theatre strike in Kerala has been withdrawn. As per the government decision, the tax fund of Rs 3 will be levied per ticket from now on. The strike was called by the Film Exhibitors' Federation headed by Liberty Basheer protesting against the government decision.

Lead actors and former couple Dileep and Manju Warrier will meet head on this Christmas. Both of them has big budget movies gearing up for release. For Dileep, it is 'Two Countries' directed by Shafi. The movie was shot mainly at Canada. The movie stars Mamta Mohandas as Dileep's lead heroine.

Dulquer in Sathyan Anthikad's son's movie

Dulquer Salmaan will play the lead role in Sathyan Anthikad's son, Anoop Sathyan's debut movie. Anoop had been working in a prominent IT company for a while and later resigned, assisting his father.

Dulquer and Manju sing for their movies

Actors taking to playback singing is nothing new. for the upcoming releases 'Charlie' and 'Jo and the Boy', the lead actors will pitch in with their songs. 'Charlie' which has music by Gopi Sunder will have a song by Dulquer. This is a Martin Prakkat movie and Dulquer has previously sung for the director in 'ABCD'.
