Mookuthi Amman 2 Set for Production with 100 Crore Budget

The production company has decided to make the movie ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ with a massive budget of Rs. 100 crore. This decision comes after the grand success of ‘Madha Gaja Raja’, leading to multiple discussions regarding new projects with director Sundar C.

Previously, the storyline of ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ had been discussed and finalized. Now, Vels Film International has decided to produce the movie on a grand scale. However, the official shooting schedule and the cast details remain undecided. The only confirmed detail is that Nayanthara will reprise her role as Amman, just like in the first part. The project is expected to commence soon.

The first film, ‘Mookuthi Amman’, was produced by RJ Balaji and starred Nayanthara, Urvashi, and Smruthi Venkat. RJ Balaji not only played the male lead but also directed the film. Due to the film’s massive success, the sequel is being planned. Unlike the first part, ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ will be directed by Sundar C instead of RJ Balaji.
