‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ Sequel Announced: Directed by Sundar C, Shooting Begins in March

The movie ‘Mookuthi Amman’ was directed by actor RJ Balaji along with NJ Saravanan. The film featured Nayanthara in the role of Mookuthi Amman and was well received after its release in 2020.

The sequel, ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’, will be directed by Sundar C. It is being jointly produced by Vels Film International, Rowdy Pictures, Avni Cinemax, IYOY Entertainment, and B4U Motion Pictures.

The official announcement for the sequel was made a few months ago. The puja ceremony for the film is scheduled to take place on March 6 in Chennai, followed by the commencement of shooting on March 15. A grand set is being constructed at Prasad Labs for the film.
