Mother of all donations: Akshay Kumar donates Rs 25 Cr

The mother of all donations has come from Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. The 'Mission Mangal' and 'Good Newzz' actor has announced a donation of Rs 25 Cr from his savings to a special fund created by Narendra Modi to fight COVID-19.

This is that time when all that matters is the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to Narendra Modi ji’s PM-CARES Fund. Let’s save lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai, the 'Sooryavanshi' star said on Saturday evening.
