Former Indian captain MS Dhoni's parents tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday and have been admitted to a private hospital in Ranchi.

Dhoni's parents have been admitted to Pulse Superspeciality Hospital in Ranchi where they are currently undergoing treatment. Their oxygen levels are said to be stable. "Parents of cricketer MS Dhoni have been admitted here at the hospital after testing positive for COVID19. Their oxygen level is stable," a statement by Pulse Superspeciality Hospital, Ranchi, Jharkhand, reportedly said. Further details are awaited.

Dhoni is currently in Mumbai leading Chennai Super Kings in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. CSK will be playing their third match of the tournament tonight against Kolkata Knight Riders.
