After the failure of 'Lingaa' with Superstar Rajinikanth, director K.S.Ravikumar is all set to regain his Box office charm with the Tamil-Kannada bilingual titled as 'Mudinja Ivana Pudi' in Tamil and 'Kootigobba 2' in Kannada. The film is all set to launch Sudeep of 'Naan Ee' and 'Puli' fame as a lead hero in Tamil while he is a top league star in Kannada. Nithya Menen has acted as the female lead in this film.
The Tamil version of the film has been produced by 'Lingaa' producer Rockline Venkatesh. D.Imman has rendered the musical score. The audio release was held on a grand scale with the participation of leading stars Dhanush, Sivakarthikeyan and VIjay Sethupathi.
The trailer of the film has created a positive buzz. It features Sudeep in two different characters one as a notorious criminal searched by Police and the other as an innocent man sporting the sacred ash on forehead. We can expect that the master screenplay writer KSR would have played some interesting mind games over the suspense on whether these two characters are two different persons or the same.
The supporting cast includes Nasser, Prakash Raj, Sathish, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharath Lohitashwa and Imman Annachi among others. Raja Rathinam has handled the cinematography while Editing is by Praveen KL
