Mother is somebody who never says no.
But not reel-life moms, perhaps.
Suhasini Manirathnam, the mom of the season in films like Dost and Pedda Babu, feels enough is enough.
She has said that she does not want do similar roles again. Suhasini, who is a former National award winner, is bored doing the sentiment-spewing, tears-dripping mother in films. I am through with it.
But why did she do Pedda Babu?
It was very good role. It was impossible for me to turn it down
Another reason for Suhasini's proposed no-show is that she is bored to hilt playing mother to heroes of her own age.
Image, as they say, is everything.
