Murugadoss picks Sreekar for 'Thupaki'

AR Murugadoss is carefully ensuring that his forthcoming film 'Thupaki', which has Vijay in the lead role, is powered by best talents. Close on the heels of roping in Santosh Sivan to helm the camera, the director has now picked Sreekar Prasad for editing.

The editor has been the favourite choice of Mani Ratnam, arguably India's top filmmaker. After working with Antony since 'Ghajini', Murugadoss has now opted for Sreekar Prasad to give a sharp and suave look to 'Thupaki'.

It is said that Haris Jayaraj had already composed three songs for the movie and is busy tuning the remaining two. The album would have rocking music and it is going to be a complete treat for Vijay fans, say sources.

Being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, 'Thupaki', an action adventure, has Kajal Aggarwal as heroine. The film's shoot, which hit a roadblock after a tussle between workers and producers, is expected to re-start soon.
