TV host Jhansi is not exactly known for being a perfectionist. A not-so-preferred host, she routinely goes overboard and on a bad day for the rest of us, unwittingly belittles her guests. At the audio launch of 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam', Jhansi said, 'You scratch-I scratch' when a hero and a heroine complimented each other. If this was meant to be humourous, Jhansi surely has a horrible sense of humour. Although the idiom 'You scratch my back and I will scratch yours' may never be necessarily used in a derogatory sense, the tenor in which Jhansi used the word made it seem tasteless.

Unfortunately, the latest target are die-hard fans of the legendary singer Yesudas. This time, Jhansi committed a thankless gaffe, prompting sections of music lovers to seek an apology from her.

Going into the details, it was an event related to RP Patnaik's 'Manalo Okadu' where the beloved singer was felicitated. Call it slip-of-tongue or lack of adequate knowledge of Telugu, Jhansi showered an unwarranted sobriquet on Yesudas: 'Amara gayakulu Yesudas'.

Enough said.
