'Muthina Kathirika' is the Tamil remake of Malayalam flick 'Velli Moonga'. Sundar.C. and Poonam Bajwa plays the lead roles in this film, which has been directed by Venkat Raghavan, a former associate of Sundar.

The film is the story of a middle aged bachelor politician who fall in love with a young girl and his struggles to get her hand. The film has been produced by Khushbu Sundar under the Avni Cinemax banner.

The supporting cast include Sathish, VTV Ganesh. Ravi Maria, Kiran Rathod, SIngapuli, Yogi Babu, Sumithra, Sriman, Chithra Lakshmanan and Uma.

Banu Murugan has handled the camera work. Musical score has been done by Siddharth Vipin. Mohan Raj has written the lyrics for all the songs. Guruaj is the Art Director and Srikanth NB has done the Editing. Dhalapathi Dinesh has choreographed the stunts.

'Muthina Kathirika' will be hitting the screens on June 17, 2016.
