Renowned playback singer K.S. Chitra, fondly known as “Chinna Kuyil” by her fans, shared a deeply emotional message on social media, remembering her beloved daughter Nandana on the 14th anniversary of her passing.

Chitra, who married Vijaya Shankar in 1988, gave birth to Nandana in 2002. Tragically, in 2011, Nandana passed away in a heartbreaking accident after falling into a swimming pool — a loss that left the music community and her fans in shock and sorrow.

Marking 14 years since that devastating day, Chitra took to Instagram to post a touching tribute. In her heartfelt message, she wrote:

"I can no longer touch and see you, hear your voice, or hold you… but I always feel you because you live in my heart. My dear, we will meet again someday!"
