Actress Vanitha Vijayakumar has reported a distressing incident, alleging that an unidentified person attacked her following an interview related to the ongoing season of Bigg Boss. As the seventh season of Bigg Boss unfolds, Vanitha, a former contestant and the mother of current participant Jovika, has been vocal in her support for her daughter. She has also been critical of another contestant, Pradeep, and has expressed dissatisfaction with how private media outlets have been covering the Bigg Boss show.

Taking to her social media platform, Vanitha shared a disconcerting update today, revealing that she was assaulted by an unknown person after concluding a review of the Bigg Boss show. She posted an image of her injuries and detailed the incident in a video. According to Vanitha, as she was retrieving her car after the review, an unfamiliar individual approached her, asking, 'Will you give me a red card?' before violently assaulting her and hastily fleeing the scene. Vanitha disclosed that the assailant's unsettling laughter still echoes in her ears and identified him as a supporter of Pradeep Antony, another participant in the Bigg Boss house.

In the video, she posted "“After finishing my Bigg Boss review, I finished my dinner and was returning home. I parked my car near my sister Soumya’s house. When I went near the car, an unidentified person came in front of me. He is a supporter of Bigg Boss Pradeep”.

“Suddenly he started hitting me hard. He hit me on the face saying ‘Are you giving a red card, you are supporting it?’” I called my sister to come downstairs. If she forces me to report this to the police. But I said I lost faith in this act. After that I took first aid”.

“I don’t know who the mysterious person is who attacked me. He looked at me and smiled like a madman. I will not be on screen for the next few days. “Danger is one step away for those who support disruption,”

A few weeks earlier, Pradeep Antony faced eviction from the Bigg Boss house amid accusations of not safeguarding the female contestants, sparking a significant social media debate. Vanitha has continued to express her opinions against Pradeep on various social media platforms.
