Music composer D Imman has carved a niched for himself among young music-lovers thanks to his peppy music score. He seems to have lived up to all expectations in `Naan Avan Illai II'.

The film produced by Nemichand Jhabak and V Hitesh stars Jeevan in the lead role with Sangeetha, Lakshmi Rai, Rakshana Maurya, Swetha Menon and Shruthi Prakash playing heroines.

With a right mix of experienced and novice singers crooning, the album has chic, trendy and racy numbers. There are six songs in this album.

1. Manmada Leelaiyai

Singer: Shail Hada, Nityashree, Ben G

Penned by Pa Vijay, the song is no remix of yesteryear hit. It is original with peppy beats that reflects the music of the land. The highlight is the use of Nadhaswaram by Imman in the interlude. Nityashree renders in a classical base while Shail Hada and Ben G give the number a Western feel.

2. Thooyavaney

Singer: Neha Bhasin

Lyricist Viveka has proved that he can pen simple but catchy lyrics in `Kanthaswamy'. So is this number. It is very seductive. The guitar and saxophone sounds in between the song are scintillating. Neha has sung it with style and substance.

3. Southern Aroma

A perfect fusion of Western and Indian rhythms. The guitar and the beats are superb to listen to. Imman has proved that he is a master in fusion too.

4. Naangu Kangal

Singer: Javed Ali, Shreya Ghosal

Penned by Pa Vijay, the song rendered by Javed Ali and Shreya Ghosal is soft and simple. The violin interludes and the racy rhythms are the highlights of the song. The song has everything to make it big.

5. O Maria

Singer: Imman, Jyotsna

Veteran Vaali has penned a number that has Imman himself singing it. Jyotsna chips in with her best. The song has lines inspired from yesteryear hits of Vaali. The song begins well and ends well.

6. Sollamalae

Singer: Sadhana Sargam

Sadhana Sargam, the `Princess of Melody' has sung with great enthusiasm for the song penned by Yugabharathy. The soft number gets more sheen thanks to Veena accompaniment.

7. Baaga Unnara

Singer: Udit Narayan, Suvi

The song by Viveka has Udit Narayan rendering it with gusto. A peppy dance number, the song is sure to make it big at the dance floors. Suvi's voice is soft and sweet to listen to.

Imman is one of the young breed of composers who sounds fresh and interesting in every album of his. With `Nan Avan Illai II', he has scaled new heights. Good job by Imman indeed!
