'Naan Ee' (Eega) emerges box-office winner! Rajini praises Sudeep

SS Rajamouli has done it. His very debut in Tamil has won accolades from film critics and the biggest critics of all, audience. The film is running to packed screens and raking in moolah at the box office.

Superstar Rajinikanth praised the film's villain, Sudeep, after watching the film: I thought I was the best villain to date, but you beat me to it. Sudeep is visibly thankful to Rajamouli for this as all the top stars in south cinema including the Superstar are praises for him!

Naan Ee grossed Rs 4, 01, 61, 564 from 208 screens in TN in this one week! Even if one deduces the entertainment tax (30 %) and distributors' share, it's still a massive collection considering none of the actors are super popular in here and that the director is new to Tamil cinema.

Starring Sudeep, Nani and Samantha, the film is a revenge drama with the hero reincarnating as a fly to avenge his death.
