A huge list of Kollywood actors and actresses have made the monetary contribution to the Chennai Rain and Flood relief and rehabilitation measures undertaken by the Tamil Nadu State Government.All the contributions to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund have been made through the South Indian Artists Association (Nadigar Sangam).

The donations of actors and actresses have come up to rupees one crore ten lakhs and 25 thousand (Rs.1,10,25,000/-)

Today the Nadigar Sangam president Nasser along with General Secretary Vishal, Vice Presidents Ponvannan and Karunas met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha and handed over the artists' contribution for the utilisation of the flood rehabilitation efforts of the Government.
