Samantha Akkineni is all praise for 'Mahanati' director Nag Ashwin, whose birthday it is today. The actress on Thursday shared an Instagram story to recall an anecdote from May 9, 2018, the date on which 'Mahanati' hit the screens.

"You are real, sweet, kind and original. I still remember how, when I came to congratulate you on the day of your big release (referring to 'Mahanati'), you were more excited about selling to me the benefits of your environment-friendly car than the zillion compliments you were receiving for the biopic," the 'Majili' actress writes.

These days, the 'Yevade Subrahmanyam' director is working on the pre-production of Prabhas' film in his mind. Nag Ashwin's film with the 'Saaho' actor will be a sci-fi behemoth to be produced by Vyjayanathi Movies. Aswini Dutt and Swapna Dutt will bankroll it on a prestigious scale.
