Nag, Dasari, Prakash Raj bail out Damarukam

The release of Damarukam would have been deferred for another time had not Nagarjuna been magnanimous in his gesture of parting with a part of his big-time remuneration. This has for long been rumoured that Nag was mooting a gesture of this kind for long now. The last-minute postponement that this socio-fantasy saw on the occasion of Diwali was the last straw that broke the camel's back.
Probably moved by the plight the film was suffering from, industry bigwig Dasari Narayana Rao too intervened and struck a compromise between the makers and the financiers using his goodwill.
Lastly, Prakash Raj, who plays a prominent role in here, is learnt to have contributed his mite in mitigating the headache of the producer.
