Nag to clash with Suriya on Oct 12

The news is that the release date of Damarukam has been pushed forward by one day. Supposed to release on Oct 11, RR Movie Makers has since deferred it to Oct 12. This expensive film, directed by Srinivas Reddy, thus, will clash with Brothers.

Brothers, a Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual produced by Bellamkonda Suresh in Telugu, is directed by KV Anand. While Nag's film has the advantage of belonging to the rare socio-fantasy genre, Brothers comes with the rare element of telling the story of conjoined twins.

While Damarukam has extensive CG works forming its overwhelming element, together with divine elements, Brothers is sentiment, emotion, action and comedy all at once. Of course, Nag is seen in the action mode, but his fight seems to be with supernatural elements.

It has to be seen who will emerge the real winner on Oct 12.
