Naga Chaitanya, the talented Akkineni hero, brought a dose of entertainment to his fans earlier this year with the film Custody, directed by Venkat Prabhu. Despite boasting a stellar cast including Kriti Shetty as the heroine and Priyamani in a significant role, the film struggled to make a mark at the box office. Custody was presented as a bilingual venture, catering to both Telugu and Tamil audiences.

Undeterred by the box office outcome, Naga Chaitanya is set to make his debut in the digital space with the upcoming web series, Dhootha, directed by Vikram K. Kumar. Having completed its shooting phase, the series is scheduled for release on December 1, marking a significant shift for Chaitu into the world of OTT platforms. To build anticipation, Chaitanya has actively engaged in promotional activities for the series, taking a unique approach.

As a special treat for his fans in celebration of his birthday on the 23rd of the month, Naga Chaitanya personally visited the homes of some lucky fans, surprising them with his presence and presenting them with gift boxes. The heartfelt gesture left fans emotional, creating a memorable and intimate connection between the star and his admirers.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming series, Chaitanya shared, This is a web series that has satisfied me personally. I have never tried this genre. I am eagerly waiting for this series. Fans can expect a glimpse of what's in store as the trailer for Dhootha is set to be unveiled on Naga Chaitanya's birthday.

'Dhootha' is not limited to a regional audience, as it will be available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages, reflecting the growing trend of multilingual content. The series comprises eight episodes and features a stellar ensemble cast, including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prachi Desai, and Tarun Bhaskar in pivotal roles. Produced by Sharad Marar, the series is a collaboration between Naga Chaitanya and director Vikram K. Kumar, known for their previous successful ventures such as Manam and 'Thank you'.
