Nagababu’s Special Birthday Tribute to Chiranjeevi: A Tree Today, a Legacy for Tomorrow

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday was celebrated in a meaningful and eco-friendly way by his brother, actor and producer Konidela Nagendra Babu. On August 22, Nagababu marked Chiranjeevi’s birthday by planting saplings at an open area in Kokapet, Hyderabad.

Instead of opting for a conventional birthday celebration, Nagababu chose to honour his brother through an initiative focused on nature and environmental conservation. Among the saplings planted was a Kadamba tree, which was specially sourced from the renowned nurseries of Kadiyam.

Speaking about the Kadamba tree, Nagababu highlighted its ecological importance. He said the 1.5 to 2-year-old sapling has lush green foliage and can provide generous shade while helping reduce the surrounding heat. The tree is also known for its distinctive spherical flowers, making it both an environmentally valuable and visually appealing addition to the landscape.

Sharing his thoughts on the birthday initiative, Nagababu said that planting trees on the occasion of his brother’s birthday felt truly happy and meaningful. He expressed the view that while conventional celebrations are temporary, planting a tree creates something that grows, gives life and benefits everyone for years to come.

Nagababu also encouraged people to plant a tree on the birthdays of their loved ones. According to him, what may seem like a small gesture today can become a lasting gift for future generations.

Wishing Chiranjeevi on his special day, Nagababu expressed hope that his brother’s legacy would continue to grow and inspire people, just like the trees being planted as part of the celebration.

The tree-planting initiative is not limited to Chiranjeevi’s birthday. Nagababu revealed that he has personally planted more than 120 trees dedicated to members of his family, including Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, Vaishnav Tej and Niharika.

Through this initiative, Nagababu is encouraging fans and citizens to celebrate birthdays and other milestones by contributing to the environment. He urged everyone to plant and nurture a tree in the name of someone they love, turning personal celebrations into meaningful contributions to a greener future.

Nagababu’s gesture has added a special meaning to Chiranjeevi’s birthday celebrations. While a birthday celebration lasts for a day, a tree planted on the occasion can continue to grow for decades, making it a lasting tribute and a gift to future generations.
