Nagarjuna requests director

Nagarjun is one of the top actors in Tollywood. He has a large fan following irrespective of the classes. Nag is known for his encouragement towards new talents, he has given many opportunities to young directors and actors, still RGV the top director says that if Nag hadn't given him a chance, he wouldn't have been in the film industry.
Given this, imagine Nagarjuna asking a director to give write a role for him. Yes, Nag said this to Gautham Vasudev Menon.
Gautham is known for his unconventional film making style movies and depth of characterization. During the audio launch of Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo, Nagarjuna said, "I have always wanted to work with Gautham, and I asked him directly to make a film with me. He once came to me and said if I will do a negative role. I said yes even for the negative role, but don't know the reason why that didn't work out. He hasn't approached me since. I indeed am very happy for Chai as Gautham is working with him."
This speech once again proves that Nag doesn't have any ego; in TFI he alone can speak such down-to-earth words. Many times, Nag has spoken about how he time and again requested Mani Ratnam to do a film with him. In the event, Mani did Githanjali. Rest is history.
