Nagarjuna responds to vulgar remarks

  • IndiaGlitz, [Tuesday,May 23 2017]

During the pre release event of 'Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam', senior artiste Chalapathi Rao offensively said that girls are useful to sleep around. While his remarks drew laughter then and there, the same have drawn criticism since yesterday. In view of the outrage the misogynistic and lewd comments have triggered, the film's producer and actor Nagarjuna has issued a statement through social media.

"I always respect women personally and in my films. I definitely do not agree with Chalapati Rao's derogatory comments. Dinosaurs do not exist!!" he has tweeted.

This is good, considering that Nag was under no pressure to respond and yet he did. Chalapathi Rao, on the other hand, is yet to break his silence on his vulgar comments.
