'Nagesh Thiraiyarangam' directed by Isaq is an upcoming horror drama which features actor Aari and actress Ashna Zaveri in the lead roles. The film revolves around the story of a Nagesh theatre that Aari as a real estate broker tries to sell. The film’s leading lady Ashna Zaveri is touted to the play the role of a book seller.

Director Ameer and Karu Palaniappan released the first look poster of the film on Aari’s birthday while Superstar Rajinikanth released the teaser of the film in March 30, 2017. Apart from the lead actors the film also boasts of a star studded ensemble that comprises of Manobala, Kaali Venkat, Latha, Sithara, Anil Murali, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan among many others.

Sri has composed the music score for the film while Thamarai, Uma Devi, Velmurugan, Jagan Set and Murugan Manthiram have lent their expertise in penning lyrics for the film. The camera department have been handled by Prabu and Nauzad.

‘Nagesh Thiraiyarangam’ went on floors on October 6,2016. There was also a controversy surrounding thh film when Anand Babu filed a complaint against the makers of the film stating that they hadn’t sought permission to use the name of his father and legendary actor Nagesh for the title of the film. However, the case was dismissed by the High Court and the film’s team was given the green signal to go ahead with the project. But the court also stated a condition that the name Nagesh shouldn’t be used independently and also to not use Nagesh Theatre.

Editor Devaraj has made the cuts for the film while Ramalingam is the art director of the film. The film is being bankrolled by Rajendra.M.Rajan and Punitha Rajan under the production banner of Transindia Media and Entertainment Private Limited.

‘Nagesh Thiraiyarangam’ is all set to hit the screens and start scaring audiences from this February 16.
