Nandhita to act with Vijay Sethupathi again

The cute pair of Idharkuthane Aasaipatai Balakumara is back. Yes actress Nandhita of Attakathi and Ethirneechal fame is going to pair up with Vijay Sethupathi for the second time in the actor’s next film Idam Porul Eval which is being directed by National award winning filmmaker Seenu Ramasami.

The official Facebook fan page of Vijay Sethupathi has confirmed the news stating “Kumudha ( #Nandhita ) Joining again with me for #IdamPorulYeval movie !”. It’s worth remembering that Kumudha was the name of the character played by Nandhita in IABK.

The film’s shoot started last week in Kodaikkanal. Vazhakku En 18/9 fame actress Manisha Yadav started shooting for the film as Vijay Sethupathi’s pair but she was removed from the role since the director felt that Manisha did not suit the needs of a ‘rural girl’ character. Seenu claims that he offered the role which will be the love interest of Vishnu Vishal who is another hero in the film. But Manisha reportedly refused the offer and backed out of the project.

Now Nandhitha has signed for the role.

Recalling the famous dialogue “Kumudha happy Annachi” uttered by Vijay Sethupathi referring to Nanditha in their previous film together now it’s time for us to say, “Fans are happy Annachi…!!!”
