Nani-Amala Paul film from Aug 1

It is known that P Samuthirakani of Shambo Shiva Shambo and Sangharshana (Poraali) fame has signed a film with Nani. Titled as Janda Pai Kapiraju, the film sees the coming together of Nani and Amala Paul.

The film is produced by Vasan Visuals Ventures. GV Prakash is the music director. The film will go on the floors from the 1st of August.

There is an episode in the film which requires him to be more brawny than a six-packs hero. Well, Samuthirakani’s actors – be it male or female - have to show immense strength in one scene or another, though it may be less of a challenge doing the rest of the film. Naresh’s convulsing act in Sangharshana and the climax scene of Shambo Shiva Shambo are the best examples.

This is a bi-lingual film. While the Telugu version stars Nani, the Tamil version has Jayam Ravi as the main lead. Amala Paul is the heroine of both the versions. The film was recently launched, the regular shooting of which will commence in August.
