Nani's 'Nenu Local' launched

If you thought Nani may not get to do a character-based story once again after Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy, here is the news that something of that has happened within one year. It's his next with producer Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations. To be directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina of Cinema Choopistha Mama fame, this one has Keerthy Suresh (yet another Malayali girl opposite Nani, after Nivetha Thomas, to be cast opposite Nani) as the female lead. Titled as Nenu Local, it comes with the caption 'Attitude is everything'.

The film was launched today in the presence of the likes of Allu Aravind, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Gemini Kiran, Sravanthi Ravikishore, Danayya, Naveen Yerneni, Damu Kanuri, Tagore Madhu, Harish Shankar, Vamshi Paidipally and other guests

"I liked Trinadha Rao's work for CCM. I was thoroughly impressed by his narration of this story. I knew Nani would be most apt for the role. When we asked him to give an audience, he gave the nod as soon as the narration was done", said Dil Raju at the launch event.

Nani said that he has been having a dream run of sorts. "Even as Gentleman is completing a 50-day run, even as Majnu is gearing up for a release, I have a new film launched in this banner. Usually, a film has to be seen to be liked more. In this case, I liked the narration itself most", Nani said.

For someone who hasn't worked with a big star or music director, Trinadha has the biggest project of his career so far in this film. "I love Nani's work. I love DSP's music. This is a project for which I am getting to work with my favourites, including Dil Raju garu. It has been a long-time dream to work with Dil Raju garu", he said.

Prasanna Kumar Bejawada is the writer (story, screenplay and dialogues). Cinematography is by Nizar Shafi.
