The film was dubbed into Telugu as Sega. Also starring Karthik Kumar, Bindu Madhavi and Nithya Menen, Veppam was directed by Anjana Ali Khan. The 6th edition award came as a pleasant surprise for Nani, who is gearing up for a super hit in the form of Naan Ee (Eega).
