Nani-Samantha combo: Do NOT speculate

'96' is a yet-to-be-released Tamil-language drama featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha as the lead pair. A national daily has reported that the realistic drama will be remade in Telugu by producer Dil Raju. 'DevaDas' actor Nani is going to reprise Vijay Sethupathi's role, the report says. And Samantha Akkineni will be its heroine, it adds.
Turns out that Dil Raju hasn't yet got the Nani-Sam duo on board. As reported in the media, we will be doing the Telugu remake of #96TheMovie which is releasing in Tamil on the 4th of October. Everything else which is being reported is speculation. We will announce the casting and crew at an appropriate time, Sri Venkateswara Creations has today said.
Which hero and heroine will do the remake will be interesting to watch.
