The recent inflammatory remarks made by the actor Mansoor Ali Khan about the actress Trisha have bordered on a significant controversy that is leading to escalating tensions. Reacting to Khan's comments on Saturday, the National Commission for Women has ordered the registration of a case against him.

Khan's controversial statements against Trisha made during a media interaction invited flak from all quarters. Prominent personalities, including filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, Lokesh Kanagaraj, political figures Tamilisai Soundararajan, and Vanathi Srinivasan, had come forward to condemn Khan's remarks. The comments evoked discontentment among people, with Trisha herself expressing her displeasure on social media towards the actor's comments.

In this ruckus, actress Khushbu, who is in a respectable position within the National Commission for Women, went against the comments made. She reported the matter to her reporting seniors in the commission and said that legal action must be initiated against Khan. Endorsing Khushbu's report, the National Commission for Women reiterated the seriousness of Khan's statements, which could eventually result in women being subjected to violence.

Therefore, taking strong note of the same, the National Commission for Women has directed that a case be filed against Mansoor Ali Khan under ICC 509B and other relevant laws. The commission reiterates in no uncertain terms the pressing need to condemn as well as take legal action against comments promoting violence or that are hostile to women.

Now, with the situation progressing further, it would be expected that legal proceedings would follow against Mansoor Ali Khan following the directives issued to him by the National Commission for Women. This development illustrates a strong stand against such derogatory and injurious comments, emphasizing the fact that there is a great need for respect and to keep women in dignity.
