Natural Star Nani Unveils Fierce New Avatar in ‘The Paradise’

Natural Star Nani is all set to surprise audiences with a dramatic transformation in his most ambitious project to date, The Paradise. Directed by Dasara filmmaker Srikanth Odela and bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, the film promises to present Nani in a never-seen-before role.
The makers recently unveiled the powerful first-look poster, which has created a buzz across social media and movie circles. Shedding his charming, boy-next-door image, Nani takes on the intense character of Jadal, a name as unconventional as his look. Sporting a thick beard, heavy moustache, and distinctive double braids, Nani’s transformation has caught everyone off guard.
The poster’s composition is as striking as the character itself — a massive circular weapon forged from knives and bullets forms a dangerous halo behind him, while ominous crows swirl in a smoky backdrop, symbolizing the storm to come. A tagline accompanying the visual teases the film’s underlying theme: “It started as a braid. It ended as a revolution.”
After the earlier teaser titled Raw Statement, which piqued interest with its gritty tone, this latest update has taken expectations to soaring new heights. Director Srikanth Odela, who made waves with Dasara, is once again being praised for his detailed vision and bold storytelling. This marks the second collaboration between Nani and Odela, and the director seems determined to push boundaries once again.
Set against the backdrop of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, The Paradise is described as a high-octane period action drama rooted in local culture but designed for a global audience.
The ensemble cast includes Raghav Juyal in a prominent role, while the film’s technical team boasts some of the industry’s finest talents. Music is composed by the ever-energetic Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Ch Sai, editing by Naveen Nooli, and production design by Avinash Kolla.
The Paradise is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on March 26, 2026, and will hit screens in eight languages — Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and Spanish — a first-of-its-kind pan-world release from Indian cinema. With its universal theme and bold execution, the film aims to leave a global imprint and elevate the reach of regional Indian cinema to international heights.
