Nayan might not bid adieu after marriage

Nayanatara may after all not bid goodbye to films after marriage. Ever since the release of Sri Rama Rajyam, it has been said that the actress will no longer sign new films. With her marriage to Prabhu Deva on the cards, she has not since agreed to act in a new film after SRR.

However, many are hopeful that she will have a change of mind. One cannot be sure of the reason why she might think of making a comeback after a brief sabbatical, but one reason could be because her Sita act in the Bapu directorial has received universal appreciation. This encourage her to do meaningful roles which enhance her credentials as an actress of mettle.

Chennai gossip mills say that Tamil directors Vijay, Venkat Prabhu and Linguswamy have narrated a subject each to Nayan. They have even detailed out the story and her character in the film. The possibility of her giving a nod to one of them is not ruled out.

That said, it must be added that she is in no hurry to jump into fray. She is relaxed and wants to take some time. Meanwhile, she is seemingly savouring the fame she has got after SRR. No less a veteran than Dasari Narayana Rao has compared her with Anjali Devi. Of course, there can be disagreement with his juxtaposition. Nevertheless, it is true that Nayan has come of age.
