Nayanthara and Shah Rukh Khan's character in Atlee's next revealed?

Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan has been through a lot after the arrest of his son Aryan Khan and finally, the commission surrounding him has ceased and Shah Rukh is back to business.
Shah Rukh Khan paused the works of his upcoming film tentatively titled 'Lion' directed by Atlee. Meanwhile, there were rumours that Nayanthara who plays the female lead, has now bowed out owing to date issues, but the team cleared out these rumours.
Now the latest buzz about this movie is that according to sources Nayan is playing a cop in this film. “Nayanthara plays an investigating officer in Atlee’s next, the source said, adding that Shah Rukh Khan plays a dual role - of the father and the son.
“The movie revolves around a man (SRK) who leads a group of wrongly accused female jail mates (played by Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and others) and turns them into a group of vigilantes fighting against social evils. Nayanthara plays the top cop investigating the case and it’s her versus Shah Rukh in the film, who is also her love interest, the source added. However, the official statement from the team is awaited.
This film marks Nayanthara’s Bollywood debut and third venture with Atlee. She first acted in the director’s debut film Raja Rani with Arya. She was also a part of his 2019 superhit film Bigil, with starred Thalapathy Vijay.
