Nayanthara's boyfriend Vignesh Shivan, a Kollywood director, is happy to have a penned a song for her character in the Tamil movie 'Kolamavu Kokila'

"Proud of you, Nayanthara.  Your confidence and conviction about new talents, fresh  scripts and the way you are carrying yourself on screen is truly inspiring.  Happy to have written songs for your expressions," he said, describing music director Anirudh Ravichander as a genius.  

The film's trailer was released yesterday.

Nayan is currently doing 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'.  She is playing Megastar Chiranjeevi's wife in the period drama due for release in Summer 2019.  Ajith-starrer 'Viswasam' and 'Imaikkaa Nodigal' and Kolaiyuthir Kaalam' in Tamil are her other projects.
