Nayanthara does not have a pair

Actress Nayanthara apart from acting with leading male stars is also acting in a heroine-centric flick titled as 'Dora'. The film is being directed by Dass Ramasamy a former associate of Sarkunam who is producing this film along with Hitesh Jhabak.
Actors Thambi Ramaiah and Harish Uthaman have been cast in other important roles in this film. Till date there is no announcement on the male lead of the film. It gave an impression that either the makers are planning to retain it as a suspense or a newcomer actor is playing Nayan's pair in the film.
But now it has been revealed that 'Dora' will not have a male lead at all, and this is the first film of Nayanthara without a male pair either in the form of love interest or husband. It is to be noted that even the films such as 'Maya' and 'Anamika' had a male actor paired opposite Nayan appearing in at least one or two scenes in those films. Aari had a good chunk of scenes in 'Maya, and only in the climax it will be revealed that he is Nayan's husband in the film.
'Dora' is all about a murder mystery and Nayanthara plays the character taking charge of finding out the real killer.
'Dora' will have musical score by Vivek and Mervin while Dinesh is handling the cinematography. The shooting of the film is fast nearing completion. '
