The shooting of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Bigil' directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment has resumed in Chennai at a private college campus. Lady Superstar Nayanthara is currently shooting for the film and it has been revealed by sources close to the team that she is playing a physiotherapy student studying in a college.

The unnamed sources have added that Nayan will be playing the ex-lover of the Michael character portrayed by Vijay who is a football coach in 'Bigil'. It is apparently not the run on the mill heroine role but has a lot of scope for the intense actress to score in many scenes. The mega Diwali release film has the ensemble cast of Vijay, Nayanthara, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Vivek, Indhuja and Jackie Shroff.
