Thalapathy Vijay, after his political entertainer Sarkar directed by AR Murugadoss is currently busy with his next tentatively referred to as Thalapathy 63, directed by his Theri and Mersal director Atlee and produced by AGS entertainment.

Thalapathy 63 had begun shooting by the end of January and had been shooting at a brisk pace in various parts of Chennai like Binny Mills, Prasad studios, and in a special Napier bridge set, and the team had shot a song as well.

Now it has been revealed that lady superstar Nayanthara will be joining the sets of Thalapathy 63 in the second/third week of March and it has been rumoured that she'll begin shoot with a song canned on her and Vijay. After Villu(2009) Nayanthara is pairing with Vijay.
