After scoring back to back hits playing solo lead in Kolamaavu Kokila and Imaikkaa Nodigal last year and the successful to the year with Viswasam, Nayanthara is set to return to horror genre for the third time after Maya and Dora, with Airaa, which has her in dual roles, and directed by KM Sarjun of Echarikkai Ithu Manithargal Nadamadum Idam fame.

The trailer begins with the entry of Nayanthara as Yamuna into a village as she decides to fake the existence of ghosts and plans a show to create sensation, before a real spirit enters the scene and that happens to be Bhavani (Nayanthara again). Who is Bhavani and what lead to her end, what's her mission and how is Kalaiyarasan connected to her, and was Yamuna able to help Bhavani's revenge mission? The trailer leaves us with all these questions which will be answered on silver screens soon.

The trailer also has glimpses of Yogi Babu accompanying Nayanthara. With haunting background score by KS Sundaramurthy and Sudharshan Srinivasan's cinematography capturing the spooky visuals as well as the black and white episodes impressively, Airaa produced by Kotapadi J Rajesh in his KJR Studios, promises to be an interesting horror thriller, releasing on March 28 worldwide.
