A film for the family narrated leisurely by debutant director is a pleasant feel for ‘A’ class audience. The interval point surprise, second half narration is pretty good. Audience guess of some previous films in Kannada but it is not actually so.

The flashback and further proceedings giving prominence to aspiration of female protagonist and male protagonist at the top of sacrifice add to the value of the film. There are two more technicians –Srinivasa Ramayya in camera and Arjun Janya in music gives pleasant moment to ears and eyes.

On the whole Devaraj and family have looked at the needs of the family audience. The television viewers glued to small boxes can come out and watch a film that immaculately suits their temperament.

It is friendship between Dev and Pavithra. There is Lakshmi who is simply bowled by the grace, innocence and do good nature of Dev. The first half is a discussion with other characters whether it is friendship or love between Dev and Pavithra. It is the urgency of Pavithra that brings repenting stage for her. She overhears only a portion of discussion of her friends. Dev and Pavithra friendship is called off.

After some time when Dev meets Pavithra she yells at him saying ‘Divorce’ has taken place long ago. This is the statement that keeps audience in guessing moments. Post interval is a flash back of Pavithra and Dev. They are close family friends. When the grandfather of the family goes sick he wishes to see the marriage of Dev and Pavithra. Pavithra has different ideals. She wants to study, achieve and be in a commanding position in life before marriage. Dev is innocent in this case. On the first night of marriage the frustration of Pavithra oozes out. Dev promises her to be friend in future.

Dev is the backbone for the achievement of Pavithra in life. What does she do for such a sacrifice? She only says I like you. That is enough for Dev. What next? Go and watch in the cinema halls.

There is good production values, editing are good, dialogues are well written and locations are boon to the value of the film.

Is Prajwal Devaraj trying to become another ‘Thyagaraja’ – the crown of Ramesh Aravind. It is a starting point for him. His emotions and sacrifice needs in performance is impressive. There is more maturity in the character portrayed by Prajwal Devaraj.

Priyanka Kandwal has got good favor from the dubbing artist. Ankita Maheshwari has nothing much to boast. Veteran actors and good friends of Dynamic star Devaraj – Doddanna, Avinash, Pavithra Lokesh, Sridhar come out well. Guest appearance of K Manju and Rockline Venkatesh is also appropriately adjusted. Pranam sibling of Prajwal in a song of marriage looks dam good.

Arjun Janya the magical composer today – all his films are doing well gives three lovely tunes for ‘Nee Naade Naa’. Srinivasa Ramayya debutant to camera in Kannada cinema has lovely future ahead.

It is a film by family of Dynamic Vision and best suited for family audience. There are many situations that connect to our social life.

Score – 7.5/10
